Philly Mag: Philly Needs More Ice Cream Shops

Today, we have attention-grabbing destinations, like Franklin Fountain and Weckerly’s. Philly’s gelato scene is sweet, thanks to Fiore Fine Foods and Gran Caffe L’Aquila. Though in recent years we’ve lost some heavy-hitters, like Capogiro, Big Gay Ice Cream, Little Baby’s, Flow State, and Philly Flavors, we’ve also seen the rise of killer pop-ups, like 1-900-Ice-Cream and Milk Jawn, plus last summer’s Sweet Molly Mels.
